BIRDFOOTSTUDIO

“I’m a printmaker and illustrator of plants and animals. Finding new plant species around my rural home and while traveling always makes me happy. I enjoy turning these subjects into prints because I have a personal connection to them. Since I like to illustrate plants from my own photos or life drawings, the species I illustrate are observed in Alberta, Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and Arkansas.

I sketch plants from life in my pocket sketchbook as often as I can, since life drawings better capture the essence of the subject. Once I have a composition I like, I trace my drawing onto a block of linoleum and carve out the image. I roll it with ink, center a piece of paper on the block and then run it through my vintage bookbinding press.”  - Emma Louise

I enjoy venturing into the realms of more representational art and exploring relief carvings. I use hand carving and power carving techniques to create most of my work. Some of my inspiration includes bones, rocks, bark, scavenged and salvaged materials and antique textiles.” - Sarah Grace Cheek

DVA

“My products range from prints, enamel pins, bookmarks, stickers, hand pressed glass cups, keychains and more.

I hand-make majority of my own items besides my enamel pins and keychains. I make sure to take care in the quality that I produce. Because I make majority of my own products, I am able to make sure that I have whatever quantity I need for each of the products and anything I order out, I always make sure I have enough of each item.

I am constantly adding or switching up my artwork to coincide with the season so I would have no issue designing products to go along with a specific theme.” - Dva Denaye

MICHELLE WEN

“I am a ceramic artist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. My work consists of functional porcelain vessels, and is best know for closed form jars. I teach wheel classes at my studio, and focus on classical forms and a refined finish.” - Michelle Wen

PATRICK KAWKA

“I’ve been making art for about two decades now. I mostly work with found and salvaged objects, turning them into large assemblages that decorate the walls of our home. Lamp making has always been an interest of mine since first seeing steam-punk style lamps online and in antique stores. Most of my lamps have a feature or two that make them unique..” - Patrick Kawka
