A fashion show “moving picture” designed by artist Shawn Baron Pinckney 

In the spirit of the 1920s and the dawn of motion pictures featured in Nickelodeons and Picture Palaces, our fashion show will be a virtual short film experience. Enjoy exclusive access to this “moving picture” debuting 1920s inspired fashion scenes and featuring our Modern Day Suffragist honorees from the comfort of your own home! 

Pinckney’s designs celebrate the women of strength, conviction, and character who broke down the walls of gender inequality and simultaneously birthed a new foundation of government, all while mothering a nation and nurturing those who opposed them. Carrying signs while impeccably dressed in white, adorned with a brooch and purple, gold and white sash, they transformed city blocks into elegant and refined spaces. Wearing their solidarity, a sea of white, purple, and gold marched on with the rallying cry, "Votes for Women." Pinckney represents the spirit of the suffragist with historical silhouettes and turning picket signs into wearable pieces of art that will inspire the modern day suffragist to transform any space she occupies.  

Speakeasy Mystery Box

Ticket holders receive a mystery box of concession snacks and 1920s inspired cocktail kit. No two boxes will be the same!

Boutique Auction

Ticket holders will receive a printed Art & Couture catalogue and special access to an online auction of one-of-a-kind accessory boutique items made by local artisans, salon packages, and more!
