The Mobile Hot Shop takes the live glassmaking experience on the road, bringing the artistry and education of glass to the public. The Mobile Hot Shop uses unique equipment to recreate a state-of-the-art studio environment and presents complex hot glassmaking techniques at venues around the world. The Delaware Contemporary is thrilled to be one of them. This unique glass experience includes live demonstrations and audience participation.
The art of glass blowing is truly fascinating! The Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG) Mobile Hot Shop will present glass blowing demonstrations throughout their visit to The Delaware Contemporary. Audience members will be seated under a tent with additional TV monitors to allow for up close views of the process.
We have an assortment of six raffle baskets featuring handmade Glasses by Corning Museum of Glass paired with craft beer and artisan snacks!
Raffle tickets are available for purchase online and in-person. The drawing will take place on Saturday, November 5 at 8:45 PM.

This event features Iron Hill Brewery beer tastings paired with the glassware for each brew. The Corning Museum of Glass (CMoG) Mobile Hot Shop will present the artistry of complex hot glassmaking techniques. This unique glass experience includes complimentary beer tastings, lite bites, glass blowing demonstrations, and CMoG glassware raffle baskets!
