Learn how to make monotypes in this special workshop with printmaker and @studios artist Caroline Coolidge Brown. Students will begin in the galleries to study work from the current exhibition as a starting point for inspiration. Then, using a variety of “Dinner Party” imagery, we will create monotypes to explore layered patterns, color and composition. No experience necessary, ages 16 - adult.

VALENTINES CARD BLOCK PRINT

Learn to carve block prints and incorporate mixed media to make Valentine cards for your friends and loved ones. Studios@ artist Bary Birm will teach you techniques to design, layout, transfer, carve, and print your custom Valentine’s Day cards. No experience necessary, ages 14 - adult.

SILKSCREEN TABLE LINEN

In this workshop you will learn the basic techniques of screen printing. You will use ready-made screens with decorative patterns to embellish the edges of your linen set, and make a small custom design or logo to personalize it.
